Frame to Film
At Thain, we transform visuals into experiences — blending AI, design, and storytelling into every frame.

AI Motion
Overview
Two restaurants, one challenge: capture attention in motion. Using AI* and visual design, Thain transformed static food photos into living stories that move, react, and invite. We created videos that turn casual passersby into curious guests — through light, motion, and appetite.
When still images start to breathe, come alive through motion.
The restaurants wanted to showcase their experiences to visitors walking through the Gornergrat viewpoint. Instead of static images, we produced AI*-generated motion that brought warmth and realism to every frame — melting cheese, gentle steam, and soft table movement — all designed to catch eyes and spark curiosity within seconds.

Challenge
Challenge
How do you make people stop walking? From flat images of food, we needed to create a motion story vivid enough to draw attention — without filming, without a set, and without losing the soul of each restaurant.
The client only provided still photographs of the dishes. To turn them into dynamic, emotionally engaging content meant bringing texture, warmth, and human presence into every frame.
We had to simulate the movement of hands, utensils, lighting, and even the reflection of steam — crafting motion where none existed before.

Solution
Solution
Thain reimagined the dining experience through AI* motion design. Using generative animation and dynamic camera simulation, we added life into every still photo — from cheese stretching to subtle hand gestures. Even the abstract cow paintings on the restaurant walls came alive, moving gently as part of the atmosphere.
Each shot was carefully crafted to balance realism and artistry — movement that feels natural, not artificial. We used AI* to simulate camera depth, soft reflections, and interactive moments, creating a seamless narrative loop fit for large display screens. The result: an experience that feels both cinematic and comforting, making viewers pause, look closer, and crave what they see.
